The Gaudreau family returned to Calgary as the Flames honored Johnny’s memory. To open the game, I shared a personal story about the first time my son met Johnny’s dad, a moment that has stayed with me ever since. It was a powerful night, filled with emotion, remembrance, and the lasting impact Johnny had on the hockey community.
On March 2, 2024, the Calgary Flames retired Miikka Kiprusoff’s iconic #34. To mark the occasion, I decided to give goaltending a shot myself. Let’s just say it didn’t quite go as planned! But it was all in good fun and a memorable way to honor a true Flames legend.
Before the NHL’s Frozen Frenzy (where all 32 teams hit the ice) I kicked off the game with a little Pat McAfee flair. It was high energy, full throttle, and an absolute blast to bring that kind of hype to the rink. Because let’s be honest, #HockeyIsAwesome.

From unforgettable saves to legendary wins, the memories poured in, and we got to surprise a few lucky fans with tickets to the big night. A perfect way to celebrate a true Flames icon!
Filling in for the one and only Beesley on February 9, 2022, was truly a career highlight. The Calgary Flames shut out the Vegas Golden Knights 6–0, but for me, the most unforgettable moment was announcing the starting lineup. An experience I’ll never forget!

I had the pleasure of hosting the video series, and even better, I got to sample some of Calgary’s best eats along the way. A perfect blend of food, fun, and Flames fandom!
Who knew Uncle Tommy was a Flames fan? Actor Gabriel Luna fell in love with Calgary and the Flames while filming HBO’s The Last of Us. It was such a thrill to interview him and discover who his favorite Flames player is. Definitely a memorable moment!

While filming the 5th season of FX’s Fargo in town, Jon Hamm and Joe Keery stopped by to catch a Flames game! They were kind enough to let us crash their fun during some look-alike moments. An unforgettable night blending Hollywood and hockey.
In December 2022, 8-year-old A.J. Hall took center stage as the Flames Fireball Kid. CTV’s Jordan Kanygin was there to capture the moment as A.J. ignited the crowd with his incredible charisma and energy. It was truly an honor to be part of such a special experience.
During the 2022 Calgary Stampede Parade, I had the chance to do an impromptu interview with Ted Stovin and Wacey Anderson from Cowboy Sh!t. We chatted about everything from midway food and Kevin Costner to the deep meaning the Stampede holds for my family. A truly memorable conversation in a one-of-a-kind setting!
In January 1991, my sister Heather was invited onto The Buck Shot Show for her 5th birthday. When I threw a tantrum, my parents reluctantly let me tag along. I’m glad they did!
